Welcome to Caring Transitions Twin Cities East

We are Mark and Shawn Gates, the local owners of Caring Transitions of Twin Cities East. We offer relocation services for seniors and their families who need assistance with downsizing, decluttering, and other difficult transitions. We were both born and raised in the Twin Cities area and we are proud to call Woodbury home. We launched this business because, after retiring, we knew we weren’t finished with our careers, but we also wanted an opportunity to make a difference. Caring Transitions provides a much-needed service to the community and a means for us to build a philanthropic platform to support the communities we serve. Mark has more than 32 years of business leadership experience with 3M Company. He has led large global organizations in the Industrial Markets, Automotive, Aerospace, Traffic Safety, and Health Care industries. Shawn has more than 20 years of customer service and supervisory experience. She has worked in commercial and corporate aviation as well as in logistics-heavy corporate travel management. We are excited to be able to combine our unique skills together with the Caring Transitions program to help you and your family.
